Direct Integration with Email Marketing Platforms

Please build direct integration with dedicated email marketing platforms like Convert Kit, Get Response, Active Campaign, Aweber, etc. Having to export the Cart Stack email subscribers is an archaic method and using Zapier (if even possible) is just another widget to manage. Direct integration with email service providers is a basic feature pretty much every other "marketing" platform offers.

Can't believe that this isn't pending development. I'm sure that at least 90% of Cart Stack clients would want the option. Why not many have commented on this suggestion is beyond me. It is like the square one integration of most services that have anything to do with customers. Integrate with email service providers so you can continue the conversation with customers beyond the abandon cart sequence. No brainer!!

Ryan Burden: Hey Ryan, what ESP are you using now? I'm interested in chatting more about an integration and how you'd like to see it work. Thanks!

Brett Thoreson: I use Get Response, but of course, there are many popular ESP's that your customers are using. Get Response is a very common integration, but Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, Active Campaign, Klaviyo, etc.
It's pretty simple. All it needs to do is whenever Cart Stack collects an email from an abandoned cart, etc. it automatically adds it to a list on my ESP.
So, on your side you'd need integration with the ESP which allows me to specify which list in my Get Response account to add contacts to.
For the ESP this is the standard integration with thousands of other apps, etc.
Then I can set up more long term relationship builder funnel after sending the Cart Stack abandon cart or browser email sequence. So, I'd still use the CS functions (because most ESP's do not have abandon cart functionality or it's very limited or just isn't very good... depends).

Using Zapier with the cart stack integration we found is another cost that could be included in the service provided.

gavin Wenyon: Not sure what that means Gavin. Cart Stack will include the use of Zapier for free (included with the cost of Cart Stack)? But again... why not just direct integration. I know there are development costs but it can't be that difficult since a ton of other services offer direct integration with like 10 or more email providers each. Just saying... seems like a natural fit.

Ryan Burden: I agree with your comment above about setting up direct integrations with popular email campaign tools. We have integrated cart stack with Zapier and have been running it for a few months. Zapier only works with a single task so every abandon is one zap. The volume of abandons we’re getting is costing us a huge amount through Zapier

gavin Wenyon: Got it. Yeah, that sounds expensive. Better with direct integration. Hope it happens soon. I'm also thinking about your exit pops. Anyone who signs up for an exit pop discount code for instance is then automatically added to the email list of your provider with direct integration. I may have it wrong but I think one of your reps said even with Zapier I cannot hook an exit pop to my email provider. I have to manually import all sign ups.
